Anastasia Deme’s Early Life and Age
Anastasia Rose Demetriades grew up in a Greek-American family with strong ties to Beverly Hills, California. A family Christmas greeting from 2024 listed her age as 21, placing her at approximately 23 years old in 2026. She is known by the shorter surname Deme, which also appears in the public profiles of her sisters.
Her childhood was shaped by a family that combined business, education, and creative interests. Unlike many young people who become recognizable through social media, Anastasia’s individual background is particularly notable for her academic achievements and volunteer activities.
Who Are Anastasia Deme’s Parents?
Anastasia’s parents are James T. “Jim” Demetriades and Nancy Demetriades. Her father is an American technology entrepreneur who founded SeeBeyond Technology Corporation, a software company acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2005 for approximately $387 million. He later became involved in venture capital through Kairos Ventures.
Her mother, Nancy, has experience in fashion, entertainment, and hospitality. Together, the couple raised five children while managing various business interests. Their family background helps explain Anastasia’s exposure to both scientific innovation and entrepreneurship.
Meet Anastasia Deme’s Four Siblings
Anastasia is one of five Demetriades children, alongside Alexandra Grace, Katarina Joy, Theodore Worthy, and Calista Sierra. Alexandra, commonly called Alexa, and Katarina became recognizable through social media and modeling. Theodore has pursued music production, while Calista is the youngest of the siblings.
An interesting detail appears in the family’s Christmas 2024 greeting, which identified Alexandra and Anastasia as 21 years old, Katarina as 20, Theodore as 18, and Calista as 14. The shared age listing does not by itself establish whether Alexandra and Anastasia are twins.
Growing Up in a Homeschooled Family
Anastasia and her siblings experienced an educational upbringing different from many American children. Jim and Nancy homeschooled all five of their children, making education an important part of family life. The arrangement also allowed their household to maintain flexibility around travel and other family activities.
This approach is particularly interesting when considering the siblings’ later accomplishments. Anastasia pursued science and economics, while her brother explored music production and her sisters developed interests in fashion and entertainment. Their individual paths reflect the family’s varied interests.
Anastasia Deme’s Education at UCLA: Science and Business
Anastasia’s academic profile lists studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2022 to 2026. Her education includes Biochemistry (B.S.) and Business Economics (B.A.), combining a scientific discipline with a business-focused academic program. Her profile also lists a 3.95 GPA.
This combination stands out in her biography. While her sisters attracted attention through modeling and digital media, Anastasia pursued demanding university subjects. Her academic choices also connect naturally with her father’s background in technology entrepreneurship and scientific innovation.
Her Achievement at the 2021 Los Angeles County Science Fair
Before beginning her listed UCLA studies, Anastasia earned recognition at the 2021 Los Angeles County Science Fair. In March 2021, she received an honorable mention, adding a scientific achievement to her educational record during her high school years.
The honor is especially relevant because she later pursued Biochemistry at UCLA. It provides a clear example of her interest in academic work before university and gives her biography a meaningful achievement separate from her family’s entertainment connections.
The 2021 Innovation Scholar Award
Another important academic milestone came in 2021, when Anastasia was named among the Lifetime Innovation Scholars. The scholars listing identifies her as “Anastasia Demetriades, UCLA & Regents Scholar.” Her professional profile also includes The Innovation Foundation Grand Prize & Scholar Award, dated March 2021.
Her siblings share an interesting connection to the same recognition program. Alexandra appeared in 2020, Katarina in 2022, and Theodore in 2025. Anastasia’s inclusion is therefore part of a broader pattern of educational recognition within the Demetriades family.
Anastasia’s Volunteer Work at the Los Angeles Dream Center
Alongside her education, Anastasia has a record of community service. Her professional profile lists volunteer involvement with the Los Angeles Dream Center beginning in March 2020, specifically under activities related to children. This experience adds another dimension to her personal background.
The Dream Center works with individuals and families experiencing difficult circumstances in Los Angeles. Anastasia’s volunteer listing demonstrates involvement in community-oriented activities beyond her university studies and academic competitions.
Her Experience With International Medical Relief
Anastasia’s volunteer background also includes a Light House Medical Mission Trip, with involvement listed from September 2019. Her profile describes the activity as providing medical relief to rural communities in South America and Mesoamerica, placing it within humanitarian assistance.
This experience is distinct from her local volunteering in California. Together, the two activities show that children’s welfare and humanitarian service have appeared in her record alongside academic pursuits, offering a broader view of her interests.
Inside the Deme Family’s Beverly Hills Lifestyle
Anastasia’s family became associated with one of Beverly Hills’ most distinctive luxury properties, Villa Theos. In March 2024, her parents listed the approximately 28,000-square-foot estate for $85 million. The Mediterranean-inspired compound included 13 bedrooms and extensive facilities developed over many years.
The property’s design reflected the family’s Greek heritage and interest in Mediterranean architecture. Although its multimillion-dollar listing attracted considerable attention, the estate was a family asset, rather than evidence of Anastasia’s individual income or personal wealth.
